I think that in the last 20-30 years in the history of gambling there have been quite strong changes that have significantly affected the very history of the development of these games.  The fact is that before the era of online games, rivals were almost always physically in close proximity to each other.  They could even quarrel and even fight if they saw the opponent's fraud.  All these features added an element of risk and excitement to the game.  But in online gambling, this is no longer the case.  And no one will give you a face if you suddenly began to cheat.  This is also why online scams are rampant.
And thus, as it were, a new page was opened in the history of the development of gambling.
The Internet has been a game changer and almost every single activity has been affected by it so it is not surprising that gambling has gone through an evolution, however we are also on the edge of yet another development which could change gambling forever as well, the metaverse is coming and without a doubt once it becomes a technology available to everyone casinos will be there to take advantage of it, as it will be a way for them to bring back some of the elements which have been lost with online gambling and that still make gambling at a psychical casinos more attractive for some gamblers.

For those who are extroverts, physical gambling is always a way to go.  These kinds of gamblers ofter take priority of socialization than solitude.  While the internet gives the introvert what it needs, I believe the technology development will make these two kind of gamblers what they need in the future.   Rollbit had already begun the possibly new era of gambling by implementing clan, this tackle more  on socialization which most online gambling lacks (there is a chatroom, yes but it is there for chats but not joint activity).  This can be further enhanced if Casino owners decided to create their own version of the metaverse of gambling.  MMORPG and gambling in one application under the technology guise of the metaverse.
No matter how these new ideas and system would be molded or created on but still it wont really beat up the essence when you do social interact with other gamblers physically rather than on facing up on your own monitor thats why there's always been a demand with these physical casinos despite of the flourishing market of online platforms.
