No wonder there are such huge cuts only in MMA. It is impossible to make such a cut with boxing glove. Such cuts can occur in boxing after head clash or if a bloody bruise explodes. But boxing, imho, is much more traumatic, mainly because there is no pause (like clinch, ground game) from receiving punches. Last UFC was kinda bloody. If you think MMA is more barbaric and brutal compared to boxing you obviously haven't done your research. I would suggest you look up how many fighters have died in the last 5 years in MMA and how many fighters have died in the last 5 years in boxing. In MMA, or in the UFC which is the most popular stage of MMA, the fight is stopped whenever one fighter gets knocked out or concussion. But in boxing, if a fighter is knocked out there is a count of 10. If the fighter stands on his feet in the count of 10, he can continue and after that, he gets beat up more and more.
