Indeed, This season is very different from the previous. The dominance of Bayern is really declining, moreover during these matches. Bayern could play amazingly in UCL, but they couldn't perform optimally in the Bundesliga. So far, only Union Berlin can perform quite consistently among all clubs in Bundesliga.
Well at the moment the table of the Bundesliga is really looking very unfamiliar in comparison to the previous year. I would not go so far and say that the dominance of Bayern is declining already though. I mean of course they had 4 games in a row now where they did not win and they even lost the last one, but in all of those games they did not play that badly, they even played pretty good in most of them. They just were not able to score because they were so inefficient with their chances. I am pretty sure though that in a few weeks the table will look different again. Maybe Bayern will not already be on the first place again then, but they will definitely be ranked higher than they are now and pretty close to the first place.
If not, they probably have to sack Nagelsmann.
What happened in the Bundesliga this season was shocking, because as you said the Bundesliga this season is very different from the previous
few seasons. Who would have thought that Bayern could be outside the top 4 at this time and surprisingly a team like Union Berlin could be
in the top position. Actually there are still many surprises that have happened in the Bundesliga this season, such as Leverkusen which is
usually in the top 4, now their position is close to the relegation zone. But this makes the Bundesliga much more interesting and less boring
like the previous season, in this season the Bundesliga is more difficult to predict, there are many surprising results.
But as you said Bayern actually didn't play too bad, but because they lost Lewandowski as their goal-scoring machine, Bayern this season has
really struggled to score goals. There were so many opportunities that Bayern could not convert into goals. I hope that slowly Bayern can return
to playing consistently, if not sacking Nagelsmann must be done. But I have confidence Bayern will return to the top position, even though this
season maybe Bayern failed to win a trophy, at least they are still a strong team and will be in the top 4.
