Overtraining? I don't think it's a big issue though, I guess the real problem is the weight issue because boxers know if they are undertrained or overtrained. Anyway, it's already over, this rematch, we will see how Ancajas will make the right adjustments.

Can't believe you didn't consider overtraining as a big issue? I don't know on what part it's just a small issue but once a boxer is struggling to catch their weight and it's only around less than a hour before the weigh-in, they are pressured to do so to the point that they will disregard those proper training just to reach the weight.

After weight-in, it's just a matter of fewer than 24 hours before the official fight. Do you really think a boxer can be in his shape with that period? Plus the fact that Ramirez is really strong and facing him should required a good conditioned body.

It's only a big issue if a boxer is not wise enough, I mean, it does not happen most of the time, that's just some of the few excuses for some boxers. They have trainers that are professionals, so why would they allow a boxer to over train? that's just like training to lose the fight, not good.
