Africa's Giant at age 62.

My fellow Nigerians, as we commemorate the independence of our beloved nation today, it is appropriate to take a realistic look back at the goals of those who battled fervently for self-government. It implores us to take advantage of the chance to look back and determine whether the Nigeria we are has provided for our aspirations as proud Nigerians.
The time has come, in my opinion, to strengthen the foundations of our fledgling democracy and make the system function by electing leaders who have the wisdom to use public funds to promote equality. It is vitally important to carefully examine the actions of potential leaders in light of their political will and ability to carry out their duties.
