That's right. Barcelona has a litmus test this month. I expect them to arrive at the clásico more or less level with Real Madrid. They are now two points behind and I don't think that in the next two matchdays they will lose their games and Real Madrid will win both, although if they maintain that gap or even lose points to Madrid, they will have the added pressure of arriving at the clásico with a greater need to win and with the disadvantage of playing at Madrid's ground. For the sake of the spectacle I hope they play decently in the games this October.
There are 9 match waiting for Barcelona in October, and this schedule will leave the players really short of rest and physical recovery. So October is sure to be a grueling month for Barcelona and its players. Here's the full schedule in October:

Dam, so tightly packed. 9 matches are scheduled within one month. Definitely going to see some hipcup there in matches where the main lineup from the squad has to be benched cause of injury. Especially lot of big names in that list like Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich as well as others not easy to push like Valencia, Villarreal. If I was Xavi, have to priory here between Champion League matches and La Liga matches. Can't eat all the cakes for Barcelona here.
