The biggest surprise of the day was of course that Villarreal lost two points against Cadiz by 0-0.
Cadiz had a really bad start to the season and it was a big opportunity for Villarreal here. Villarreal had some serious problems on the recent weeks about getting wins. They have lost a lot of momentum and they wasted another chance. They were quite dominant in the first half but somehow Cadiz managed to improve their performance also. I wonder what went wrong and how Villarreal let them get one point easily.
Now Sevilla - Atletico Madrid is going on by Atletico's 1-0 lead. Their performance so far has been better which isn't surprising at all. Sevilla's bad form is very likely to continue if they don't gather themselves up.
Yes Cadiz have been in poor form for the begining part of the season and I also expected Villarreal to capitalize on this opportunity to get maximum points from the game but it looks like Cadiz were also ready for the game which unfortunately we didn't see that happen. Villarreal have to put more work in their finishing because they wasted many chances which if converted would surely give them all three points.
