Villarreal is a strong enough team and Cadiz is getting points at home for the first time. It's natural for them to think that 1 point is enough. Towards the end of the match, they wanted to keep this score as they went without conceding a goal for a long time.
The red card in overtime was very clever. Carcelen blocked the clear goal position and received applause from the fans. It's not common for a red card to be applauded. It was an interesting situation.
Getting a point against Emery's Villarreal should count as success. Cadiz can play against teams similar of their quality to win the match. It's their nature to be protective against big teams.
I feel like there are teams that just want to get out with a point at least, and that’s fine for them and it’s a long term approach. I am not saying that it would be a good idea for many teams, but if you want to just avoid relegation, then if you aim at 1.00+ point averages then it would be a good thing for you.

Not like they could, Cadiz is in trouble if you ask me, but if they aim at that, then they would avoid relegation, and not like they could be a top 5-6 team anyway, so it’s better to be 14th or something at the end of the season then be at a level where it would be just a situation where they would rather have to keep trying again and again instead.

According to the outcome of the Cadiz Vs Villarreal match, i believe that Cadiz missed many chances to achieve a positive result for their team. i also believe that they will be happy if they can somehow just avoid relegation. and not losing and getting 1 point again stay strong appoint is obviously a good outcome for them. in the next game, Cadiz is scheduled to play Espanyol from Spain. as a result, i believe that they have a good chance of getting another draw and, if they play well, they may also be able to win the match. that is going to significantly improve their position on the table.
