You need to scan it first. there are many virus scanner that could be found on internet, but I strongly suggesting you to use the services of Safety Detective Scanner, and VirusTotal. So that could help your computer away from unwanted threats.
I'm not much of an expert in this field but I don't think an anti-virus can help here. You should not rely completely on them.
Most of those bots come as a script (text file) which you have to execute locally on your machine. This makes it harder for the anti-virus to detect if the bot has any malicious code.
What you need to do is to read the code by yourself (even if you are not a programmer) and see if there is any thing suspicious that isn't supposed to be there like an address or an encrypted part.
