Liverpool will win Rangers convincingly today, I am 80% percent sure of this. I discovered this over the weekend when Liverpool came back from a 2 goals against to almost win the match which ended in 3:3 draw. Their pattern of play changed for better, their fighting spirit came.back fully and they did terrorise their opponent.
If they put in same amount of pressure tonight, they will not fail to trash Rangers off.
In terms of team strength, it is clear that Liverpool are quite favored apart from that they will play at Anfield which can clearly be a problem for Ranger. But on the other hand, don't forget that Liverpool's performance is currently in a condition that is not very consistent and not only in the EPL but in the Champions League, losing to Napoli is one proof that is quite concrete in my opinion.
It would be great if they could win but I probably wouldn't be too sure about this for them.
Despite Liverpool being not in top form I think tonight they will handle Ranger quite well with a good win.Rangers are not that bad but Liverpool needs the victory tonight in order to keep the hopes alive of qualifying further in the Champions League which I think will be their main objective for the year.In the Premier League they are going from bad to worse and I don't think now they have a chance to win the title even remotely based on their performance there,therefore it is only natural their focus to be in the Champions League and tonight should be an easy win for them.
Coach Klop must take some risks in order to win tonight. He must start Calvin Ramsay instead of Trent, who is currently experiencing problems and is unfit to play. Trent needs a rest to recharge and regain his confidence, but considering that he played Scottish league before joining Liverpool and is familiar with Rangers' style of play, I think he can handle the defense.
Salah and Diaz up front, while Jota Carvalho can play on the side wing, should be carefully chosen by Klop as his attackers.
Klop can use Thiago in place of Henderson in the middle.
Liverpool will win as a result of this.
