Exactly. We're still early.
However, as they're saying "gradually, then suddenly", now most countries are only "checking the waters". But I would not be surprised if in 10 years (or less?) the remaining countries may get into a FOMO situation and rush to make sure they do have Bitcoin as legal tender (at least!). Am I overly optimistic? Maybe, but the currently starting recession may be an eye opener.
That is expected as bitcoin will be our future when fiat or paper money starts to depreciate. That may be not visible this year or the next year but hopefully 5-10 years from now, most countries will start to crave and take advantage of every opportunity to own and store bitcoin. For some, this current recession has already made them realized that bitcoin could only be the only one to stop or avoid it in the future.
