Why he hasn't picked till now is because he has not gotten enough playing time. If Erik gives him some more playing time, he will find his form and happiness again.

However, if he does not return to his original form after being given many opportunities to play, imagine what will happen to MU later.
So I don't think that's the problem. if we talk about the problem of him not getting enough playing time, he has had that opportunity. however, what happened was not what Erik Ten Hag expected.
At the start of the season, he was given the opportunity, but the results did not match expectations. as a professional player, he should be able to go out and find his form again.
IMO, most likely he doesn't fit into Ten Hag's coaching style, aside from other factors related to him.
