Keep your premine these can be used for developments. Resetting will not make the miners happy. Without extras, this project will not survive long. rather take your time and develop something else. In addition, the scrypt algo is not resistant to attacks only with PoW. Either PoW and PoS or combined algos (just a tip, many scrypt algos were attacked)
I'm actually restarting the blockchain because someone brought out an entire crypto farm and the difficulty spiked, I'll try to switch algos though I can't promise anything as of right now and on the bright side no one mined anything before the attack so not many people will be mad
Then close the nodes so that no more coins are mined and reset the coins to zero. the miners will have to accept it. As long as the next start is fair, everything is fine.
Use a different algo and use hybrid (pow and pos). With the small number of coins you can do 50% PoW and 50% PoS. Don't forget that the max number of coins cannot be mined in a short period of time.
I will probably close the nodes temporarily, I'll reset the coins to 0 and I'll try to make it hybrid however I'm not fully sure I'll succeed
