If you are just a normal person who does not know about the bots and how to make the code runs there's a chance that the owner or the developer of the bot has a chance that they will inserted some malware or suspicious attack to your computer and of course you are just doing it install even though without reading the permission as long as you can use the bot most likely those are the typical person who just play gambling for entertainment and would like to overcome the game itself.

I clearly remember the incident of a friend of mine. He keeps 50 eth in his metamask wallet. I also agreeing with your point , before using bot the user should know the purpose of it , whether it will use for trading if gambling .
