If that happens, it looks like it will be a regret for Lewandowski who previously forced or urged to join Barcelona, but in the end had to fall out of the group stage in the Champions League and of course it was a nightmare because of the wrong choice.
I don't see it will be a regret for Lewandowski when Barcelona fail in the Champions League. Because if the goal is the Champions League then he will still choose to stay at Bayern Munich, because last season Bayern Munich's chances are bigger than Barcelona. His great desire to defend Barcelona will not affect Barcelona's failure in the Champions League, because there are many other targets he wants to get in Spain. He must have considered that, so it's not a problem for Lewandowski.

It is a fact that Real Madrid couldn't score more than one goal in their last two La Liga games. But they were able to score more before these ones in the absence of Benzema as well (e.g. 4 goals vs Mallorca, 2 goals vs Betis).

Considering that I think the reason of this might be related to their thinking of the Champions League games as well. They need to keep things balanced in the end and maybe they don't want to push hard in the La Liga as long as they are able to win a game one way or another. But it is the truth that Benzema is a big factor that helps the number of goals the team score increase more in most of the games.
I'm not too surprised when I see Real Madrid don't score a lot in every game, because their goal is to win not how many goals they score, maybe it will cost them when they have to determine the position in terms of goal productivity. Not only have Real Madrid not scored enough goals but they have won a lot of games through their frequent comebacks. I hardly worry when they have to go behind, because their stats on turning things around are very high, in fact they scored a lot of goals at the end of the second half.
