Leao, 23, has established himself as one of the best attacking players in Serie A after joining for €35 million in 2019. He scored a career-high 14 goals across all club competitions in 2021-2022, and then he has had a great start the current season.
Will this contract issue really happen?
Rafael Leao is a very talented player of which has not gone unnoticed in recent seasons, he is quick, and has the ability to scores goals which is one thing expected from every attacking player but the problem is his release clause which is a very huge sum for a player who is still developing and yet to achieve his peak. Hopefully a deal can be materialised but I think PSG will come with official bids to try to entice the player to join rather than paying that much amount on his release clause.
