Bayern has been getting a good result in the champion league and it was starting to compete with another club like union, freiburg and dortmund at the top positions of bundesliga. I think that you shall not under estimate bayern caused by sometime it can give you a surprise like beating union with huge score. Inconsistent in the performance didn't mean if bayern can't beat union
