We really needed a big win to raise our spirits and Rangers came at the right time. We were quite bad in the 1st half and conceded the 1st goal yet again, but after getting in the lead the game went only 1 way.
McGregor, the Rangers' goalkeeper, was just as bad as their defense. Too many mistakes. I didn't really think Rangers would pose a threat to Liverpool in the match. My belief was shaken when they scored the first goal, but the outcome didn't surprise me in the end. Furthermore, I am exicted for Liverpool's next match because Salah and Haaland will be playing on the same field this weekend. Salah appears to be back on form, and Haaland has been playing well.
Rangers getting the first goal doesn't mean that Liverpool was bad in the first half. If you can recall Firmino got a brace in the first half of that match. Then finally Salah got a hatrick in the second half. It was a big win for Liverpool.
For England Liverpool vs Manchester City, I am confident that Manchester City will win the match because some key players of Liverpool are injured and would miss the match.
This big win doesn't mean that Liverpool is back in its best form, Rangers is not a commensurate opponent for Liverpool because the quality of the two teams is very different and the big win that Liverpool got is a natural thing.
This victory makes Liverpool have a very big chance to qualify for the round of 16, they are now in 2nd place, 3 points different from Napoli who are at the top of Group A.
and for Liverpool's next match, which will face Manchester City in the Premier League, is the real proof for Liverpool. but I really doubt that they can withstand the onslaught of Manchester City which is now very strong.
