Liverpool's last performance in the champions League this week was way better than Manchester city's so I wouldn't quite say that their performance in the last three game has not been good. Klopp even after their UCL game where they trashed the opposition Rangers by seven goals, boasted that he was ready to face Manchester city so we are all looking forward to the weekend.
We can't judge Manchester city just by their last game. Lets not forget, they didn't use their top players for the game like Haaland. He was rested just for this game and come this weekend, Liverpool will understand why he was rested. Also Manchester city were just looking for just 1 point to secure their leg in the next round of the competition which they did making them the first English team to qualify. On paper, Manchester city will destroy Liverpool but this isn't the papers, so I'm thinking something different. And even though Manchester city were to win, it will be a narrow win and not some embracement.
Liverpool on the other hand, might just pick up form from this last game and put on a display of their life. Liverpool knows Manchester city very well and they have always been a problem whenever they play. The last time they met this year, Liverpool disagree Manchester city so we should be in for some tough game and not go in with the mindset of Manchester city rubbishing Liverpool.
