No matter how Barcelona plays, it's enough for Inter to beat Victoria and it's hard to wait for some kind of surprise here.
Back in the transfer campaign, I wrote that Barcelona are going all-in unreasonably - they are spending a huge amount of money being in debt, while risking remaining where they were: second place in La Liga and an "average" performance in the Champions League.
And now it turns out that Barcelona is not even capable of an “average” performance in the Champions League.
You've said it, of course and I wouldn't have many expectations now about Barcelona. It would be good to just enjoy it. But Barcelona made all those sacrifices to increase the chances, meaning there are no guarantees about success. I'm not betting on their success in the end, they still have weaknesses as a team without their best players.

I still don’t understand why Barcelona went so far - all these levers, scandals with players which have dropped the reputation of Barcelona so strong. If Laporta believed in Xavi's talent so much, then it was possible to bet on youth for a couple of years, develop and improve the financial situation and at the same time have the same results that Barcelona has now. But they took a super risky path and are currently on the losing side.
I'm looking forward to the Barcelona-Bayern game with great interest, not because I believe in Barcelona's comeback, but because it's interesting to see how Bayern will play this game without the motivation to win. I think even in such conditions they can win big.
