I doubt, currently eth is at the worst state ever, after the merge instead of having increase in value it increased decreased so significantly meaning the merge doesn't have that much significance towards the value itself, moreover I think in the upcoming months eth will instead further decrease due to the recession.
True, there is no benefit from merge, transaction fees or swaps are still expensive and transaction speed is also slow, it takes more than 5 minutes to get 5 confirmation, the most important user gets benefits, namely the speed and transaction costs can lower.
