I have to disagree with you guys! I don't think it's the lack of awareness about the risks of gambling or how casinos work which make people continue gambling although they lose too much. Am sure most if not all gamblers are aware that they will lose on the long run and know of many cases where gambling ruined people's life's.In my opinion, it's greed which make every gambler think he will be the exception and hit the jackpot although he knows the odds are against him.
greed is one of the destroyers of gamblers that is always in the hearts of gamblers. every time surely everyone has felt when you get a $100 win hoping it will be $1000 and still want $10,000 and so on. things like that will always appear in the minds of all gamblers whenever they can't control their emotions.
actually in gambling there is no need to be greedy by expecting big wins if small wins are better.
well even though it is very difficult to control emotions and make greedy but there are several ways to avoid it all.
and we as gamblers must always remember before becoming more greedy is that we can't beat the bookies
Here's what I thought: not only greed makes you lose more and more gambling. There is still hope that you will be lucky and you will get a glorious jackpot from the game. This thought is so ingrained in the brains of some players that it becomes an obsession in many cases. And the players keep playing and losing more and more. And the thought of luck still does not leave the brain and makes you play further, like an automaton.
