Isn't it that Poole has already signed a contract for them with a 4-year deal? Or it's possible that they may trade him with a higher contract from other teams if some teams want him?
Is that how things work for these contracts and there's an option for the management to do that type of deal?
He can be traded but there's no way he will get a higher contract in a new team. The contract would still stands and he will only be paid on what is in the contract, if the new team will give him increase, that's not part of the contract, it's another one.
