I think Roobet knows what they are doing and it’s their decision to have three winner, one winner or hundred winners really. It has to be competitive all the time otherwise people will take the competition for granted it will take out all the fun from it. I participated may be 3-4 times until now but I never won and I never complained about it because arts were super amazing as compared to mine. No doubt about it, so all I did is enjoyed creating something with my nephew, had all the laughs and moments.
Does it really have to be winning all the time or money all the time? Anyways, halloweens up so let’s enjoy the horror time of our lives. I think it’s fair if they have five winners only.
Sad to hear that, I hope you joining this art competition and I also hope you will become a winner at least 5th position. Actually it's their right to choose how many winners on their contest, but the thing is they (the judges) will be more harder to pick the winners due to high competition. We as a participant doesn't need to think anything, if we've submit our art, it's done and it's up for the judges decision.
Even though not all participants can become a winner on the contest, but every participants already become an unofficial winner based on different people view.
all the contests I joined before I tried to approach it in a way that I knew I could win or lose
trying to keep expectations low so I don't get frustrated with "wasting time"
I have never participated in any contest on this forum but I've participated in several of them outside here, and I tell you, one way to have peace of mind is to not put your hope in winning, but channel that energy of hope into doing your best, sometimes, you end up winning when you least expect it.
Like the first poster in this line of quotes said, contest doesn't have to be about winning all the time, sometimes, just enjoy the fun of participating and don't put your hope on winning.
I think with contests it's more about the process than the outcome.
Sorry but I might disagree with you here, both the process and the outcome are very important when it comes to choosing a winner.
-Many will start well, that is a good process but end up with a bad outcome, this type of people hardly win.
-Other start badly in their process but end up with a very good outcome, this type people have slight chances at winning.
-The last set, which is a very small percentage start with a very good process and end up with a perfect outcome, this type of people are the ones that have guarantees at winning all the time.
