Honestly I saw this news very shocked whether it was true or it was just a rumor, news from Italian Football that Inter Milan owner Steven Zhang decided to sell Inter Milan and offered Raine Groub for €1 billion for the club.
According to The Financial Times, Inter have given a mandate to Raine Group, a US investment bank and Goldman Sachs to find a buyer for the club.
The Zhang family reportedly want €1bn for the club.
Raine Group recently acted as an advisor for Todd Boehly’s Chelsea takeover.
SportMediaset are reporting 3 groups interested in buying Inter:
- An American group led by Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry
- A fund from the UAE
- Ernesto Bertarelli, the richest man in Switzerland
It seems that was true and it's not only a rumour. I hope that inter will be acquired by a group from UAE. As far as i know that if UAE was interesting to acquiring intermilan as it has been acquiring newcastle which has been played in premier league right now.
Im feeling doubt about another party other than UAE. We do know that how UAE was full with so many crazy rich billionaire, so many people know correctly about the reputation from UAE.
They were always giving so many funding to keep the club become the best like what happened with PSG and city
Unfortunately until now, no investors from the UAE have looked at Italian clubs, although I know that this rumor has been around for a long time but only recently emerged, and directly from their president Steven Zhang's family who stated this.
There is a possibility that Italian clubs are still question marks regarding match fixing, although this is just my speculation, at least that has happened to Juventus with the Caciopoli case.
Maybe that's one obstacle why people from the UAE don't want to look at clubs from Italy, because the fixing of the score in the Italian League Serie A is still thick, when talking about money problems, people from the middle east are not likely to buy some shares of clubs from Italy, but in fact there is not a single club owned by the UAE people..
