Despite being seeded, Napoli must be wary of AS Roma. In this match, Jose Mourinho is certainly very determined to break the chain of victories that have been achieved by Napoli. Chris Smalling will certainly take advantage of the advantage as the host to pick full points.
Although Napoli are in quite good shape following an unbeaten result, AS Roma cannot be considered weak, Jose Mourinho is building Roma's strength to be better this season, but on the other hand taking advantage of opportunities as hosts, not enough influence, and producing positive things , considering the arrival of Napoli to the Stadio Olimpico with high confidence, victories with Bologna, Ajax and Cremonese are enough to be capital for Napoli at this time.
Looking at Napoli's performance now it's actually still getting better for them but sometimes the problem is that in the next few weeks it's clear it will be a tough game for them.
for their next 5 matches, there are at least 3 clubs that are a scourge for them at this time, namely Roma, Atalanta for Serie A and Liverpool for the Champions League.

I actually still believe for them to face Roma regardless of Roma's performance and of course it will be a bit of a hassle but I'm sure they will win, but the problem is the game after, whether they are able to beat all the big games that will happen after this makes me not too sure .

Roma is currently sneaking up its way in the table and it is very typical for Mourinho. They score 1.3 goals per game as of now and still take the games homes.

I am mentioning that because I would agree that in most games Napoli might be a bit of a favorite, but this is a home game, the fans are nice and if Roma manages to take the lead it is currently difficult against them to turn it around. They often play these one goal difference games because of Mourinho. That is why I think that the first goal will play a big role. Roma isn't the team that starts fireworks usually, but when they have to attack because they fell behind against Napoli, it will be close to impossible for them to turn it around. Should Roma keep a clean sheet for a long while during the game or even better from their perspective, take the lead, I believe it is going to be a really tough game for Napoli. Mourinho's teams can play very destructive soccer in terms of game dynamics etc.
