Seem like the same to me, Chelsea typically is the same as MU, they will play hard when meeting the stronger club, but when meeting mediocre clubs like Wolves they don't have motivated to win. Leaving the field before the game ends tells a lot of story about Ronaldo to be fair. I agree with most people that he is still a good player, or at least good enough to be considered playing in United. yeah if he was in another club, like lets say City, or PSG, then it is obvious that he wouldn't be considered for striker position because there are better players there. But who do United have that could be considered better? I would say him leaving the field is saying it clearly "either use me, or let me go" and thats it, if they could let him go, this guy could still find a good place for himself. This is the guy with 800+ goals in his career, you can't just bench him, its not acceptable.
Lets not be bias about the situation, I agree that no player is bigger than the club and I believe that message is now clear to everyone including Ronaldo knows that by now but I also think the club is pushing it too far. Ronaldo is a player who loves to play at the beginning of the season we were told he was sitting on the bench as a punishment for not meeting up with the preseason games but until now he's still struggling to get games which is not fair.^^ The problem is Manchester United is getting the results without him. And obviously the fans and Manchester United as a club are entitled to ask for successful results from Ten Hag. They are not allowed to ask why he did not let Cristiano Ronaldo play. So I think one could argue that the coach is doing his job.
