Being a great player and being a great coach are different. We have been witnessing failures of both two great midfielders Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard. I am not serious about their failures because they are just too young in coach career and they have a lot of time to improve it. It is not common to see a young coach can has great success like Zidane in Real Madrid.
If they can learn from their past jobs, past mistakes or drawbacks and are able to improve themselves, success will come later or sooner. However, success sometimes needs support from luck and randomness. I mean to success and achieve big things, there are so many factors and coincidence should converge and occur in a single season. We can not control them but we can improve ourselves and increase our chance to succeed.
