It was a real surprise that Ireland beat the West Indies, by 9 wickets. Actually West Indies are much ahead compared to Ireland, but West Indies' bowling failed to give good performance. In that game I expected West Indies to win by a big margin but the opposite happened.
How can you say that West Indies is well ahead of Ireland? A few months back, there was an ODI series between these two countries, which was hosted by West Indies. Ireland won that series 3-0 despite very hostile conditions. Ireland is showing a lot of improvement in this series, and I wonder how much of it was contributed by the increased funding from the ICC. On the other hand, Namibia and Scotland doesn't have this advantage, as they receive hardly any funding from the ICC. And today's match was completely one-sided. At no point, West Indies had any chance of a win.
