I personally don't have much knowledge about teams from the Eredivisie league, so I can't really comment much on the PSV team. the only icon that sticks in my mind, only on his coach, Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
Speaking of this match, Mikel Arteta's troops opened up the opportunity to qualify for the last 16 of the Europa League.
IMO, they are too tough to beat by PSV in yesterday's match.
not only as the host, but the Gunners are really on fire. It was proven that Arteta's young troops were able to control the game with 62% ball possession, 25 total shots, 8 shots on target.
As for PSV, Ruud Van Nistelrooy's troops were only able to get 4 total shots, one of which was on target.
So I want to see the resilience of Van Nistelrooy's troops when they host Arsenal at the Philips Stadium later. if PSV is able to win its last two games, and if Arsenal slip up. it is certain that PSV will make sure to qualify without going through the preliminary round.
PSV is basically one of the three teams that are prominent in Eredevise history, some other teams have managed to be good at times, but usually the three at the top is known. It's Ajax as we all know, they are great, and PSV with Feyenoord is the other two, these three teams are usually the best ones most seasons, sometimes they have bad years of course but usually these are it.
Considering Dutch football is a known and prominent one in the world of football, being top three there means you are at least half decent at all times. Of course Arsenal is leading Premier league, biggest league in the world right now, so the difference was still quite huge to be fair, understandable win from Arsenal.
