New Zealand Played an impressive match. Finn Allen and Conway were outstanding. The pitch was batting-friendly. But I am Not sure what happened with Aussie batters. They were playing on their home ground and collapsed, scoring 117. They were unable to face Tim Southee at all. I hope they will come back strongly.
Australians couldn't chase down such a huge total, after their bowlers leaked more than 200 runs. None of the Australian bowlers had an economy rate of less than 9 runs per over. Pat Cummins was the most expensive one, going wicketless after conceding 46 runs from his 4 overs. On the other hand, the New Zealanders bowled with such a great control. And none of them had economy rate above 8 runs per over. Quality of bowling decided the outcome in this match. If not for the valuable runs added by Pat Cummins towards the end, Australia would have struggled to reach three digits.
