Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who do, last time I checked there was a guy who made 200k+ dollars from one of the examples, he kept on putting it under vitalik's tweets for example and they just got fooled about it.
So when you are checking rollbit, maybe its not as common as Elon or vitalik, but you will 100% see someone trying to put something like "rillbit" or "rollbitt" or whatever close they can get as domain, as we all know not all ones are available but they will end up with finding something as close as possible and try to trick you, its better to not click on any link you see on twitter, just to make sure you do not get fooled.
Yeah there were many cases of these scams where they portray themselves as real account or even hack the original account and then make these tweets to scam people. From casino point also they can post fake links giving away hundred of dollars and ask you to click on the links which can be phissing attempts. So yes it's important to check for the original site and don't fall for greed with these giveaways.
I remember there was a moment when someone found a weakness in twitter and they ended up portraying all the rich people and tweeted out of their accounts, jeff bezos, elon musk, bill gates, cz, vitalik, all of their accounts were hacked and someone put an address to it and started a rumor that they were giving out their money.
First of all, how would anyone believe that these rich people would give out money, they didn't become this rich by just giving money to random people, sure maybe donate to charities that's fine, but not giving out to random strangers. Secondly, that dude got away with hundreds of thousands of dollars in mater of an hour, because people believed it for some reason. Be careful when clicking on any link.
