I guess the above may not be about you, but maybe some other users. However, everyone can reread the thread description and they can also contribute to the thread if they wish. Nothing forced, imo.
But on the other hand though, I am really glad that many that made their count down to next rank post here have indeed ranked up, I am happy reading all the testimonials, and my special thanks to everyone (known and unknown) that is contributing to this success, whether on this thread or outside this thread (that is looking at the post history of the applicants and meriting their merit worthy posts because of their application here), I appreciate you all.

These people support the good efforts of the users, that is the meaning of a community. I don't think most users will be in this thread from 0 merit, as most are those whose countdown to the next rank is very close. This opinion has also been shared by other users, I guess it's true and they don't go away even though it's actually not forever in this thread.
