Lazio's performance is exactly convincing. We know that Atalanta is a pretty strong and dominating club over the years. But in a fairly tight match this time, they had to surrender to Lazio. Lazio really is improving its performance over the last few games. With the same points, Lazio is now in 3rd place. It's really tough competition.
Lazio's last five matches in two Competitions have not been better than Atalanta, they have only been able to win twice and draw three times, while Atalanta's last five matches have been far superior and convincing, where they won three and drew twice, even Atalanta still holds the unbeaten record before the game against Lazio.

But unfortunately the match did not go well for Atalanta, despite playing at home, but because of the consistency of defense and attack that Lazio built, Atalanta conceded two goals at home. Mattia Zaccagni's quick goal cost Atalanta their best game, so the game wasn't what it used to be for Atalanta.

This season Lazio transformed into a team with a solid defense in the Italian League Serie A. Of the 11 Serie A matches, Lazio's goal has only conceded five times. Lazio have also only lost once, namely from Napoli in week 5.

Lazio have also managed to keep six clean sheets in a row in Serie A this season after beating Atalanta. Interestingly, this sixth clean sheet they got from Atalanta, an unbeaten team in Serie A and also Lazio's arch rivals in the standings.

Now Sarri will be chasing a record seventh clean sheet against Salernitana. In Lazio's history, the record for the highest clean sheet in the Italian Serie A occurred during the era of coach Sven-Goran Eriksson, between February and March 1998. One step further, the record can at least be equaled or even broken by Maurizio Sarri.
