I believe that Ecuador is going to top this group, and Netherlands may struggle to qualify for the next round. Netherlands is not in good form since Euro 2021. Ecuador on the other hand has performed exceptionally well in the Copa America 2021 and the World Cup qualifiers. The other two teams in Group A (Qatar and Senegal) are also quite strong and both the teams have performed well at international level recently. Qatar has the home advantage as well. It is going to be tough for the Netherlands, even to qualify to knockout phase.
This is your personal statement, and we can argue about this because here I am not agreed with you about Netherlands quality even they are struggling but still they are in the best shape, and they have services of few top quality players which are surely a big advantage for them in this group and playing against team like Senegal and Qatar is surely not big problem for them even they can face some challenge from Ecuador which is surely another big team in this group and both could be in next round for me even Qatar is having home advantage but still they are not good enough to have gone into next round with their current level they are already in this world cup which is honor for them, and they could be out of the next world cup even they are going to have 48 countries because for me, they are not enough good with this all.
Yes... I maybe biased. But from what I have seen, people normally over-estimate the chances of UEFA teams, while under-estimating those of the CONMEBOL teams. Let's not forget the fact that Ecuador secured qualification to the world cup from the toughest confederation. They managed to finish on top of very strong teams such as Colombia and Chile. I am not saying that UEFA is an easier confederation. But I found the Dutch performance less than satisfactory, in both the World Cup qualifiers and during the Euro 2021.
