I like the concept as long as it does not involve mining which would be pointless.

Running a node to maintain the blockchain I think would be very beneficial for decentralisation.

Think about it a lot more people have smartphones than PCs, dedicated servers, etc.

Currently too many challenges to make it happen and feasible but I could see this develop in the future.
