Thank you very much for this information, it's really absurd what businesses really do for profit/money, even to the detriment of their own business.
Understand the business model. Who are their clients to pay them cash. The reviewers or the services they listed. You and me as reviewer are their product and those services are selling their service to us. For Trustpilot and similar sites those services are their clients who makes them money.
