Well, i must say that anybody in the shoes of this lucky man would have done same, so personally, i am not going to judge him, i am a Christian but i know that gambling is a sin in Islam, the action is the man after seeing his winning ( that is going to the mosque to pray) is already a clear indication that he is not a true islamist who keeps the law..
Its just like a Christian who does not go to church but do know that there is a God somewhere, and the day something really good happens to them, you see them run to the church to give thanks to God, not out of genuiness of heart but out of overwhelming joy ..
So its clearly understandable to me.

For my part, I don't think the guy is a sinner because there is nothing in the original scripture (written by prophets and disciples) that states gambling is a sin.  All those gambling is a sin statement is just a derivation of the religious leaders out of their own interpretation.

So turns out that he had violated something in religious aspect.?Doesnt matter though since its their problem but having winnings then
someone should mind about his anonymity because its really a safety hazard.

True, the guy or guy's friend who knows about the winning should have kept their mouth shut.  The human heart is envious and greedy, so the situation where the identity of the winner is exposed to his surroundings brings danger to the winner.
