Well going into the Paul vs. Silva event this is my picks for some fights,
Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva
The stake odds for this match are 1.38 for Paul and 2.95 for Silva, in seeing this fight we should consider that Paul doesn't want to fight professional boxers but he would surely be trained for this match, though his enemy is an amateur in boxing, and is retired in the MMA, we would likely be seeing that as an opponent for Jake Paul, for me Anderson Silva will not allow fixed fights, and with this, I really think that he has experience with boxing, so this could be a close fight and might be a hard-fought-for Jake Paul, my pick is Anderson Silva,
Silva is a very experienced fighter that can take a punch, but Paul is a heavy hitter. It's very hard to speculate here but I think it will come down to whether Silva can survive the first 1 or 2 rounds and feel his opponent. Usually very skilled and experienced fighters who don't strike very hard take their time and if they don't get hit hard early they'll keep finding openings and scoring later. I'd also bet my money on Silva.
Silva survives the whole 8 rounds though those heavy combinations of Paul gives him a tough night, It's legit that Paul dominated Silva and even Silva did try to punch back but it shows that Paul is prepared enough to counter or to avoid those punches. Good win for Paul more money for him as he is calling for Diaz and Alvarez to hype his win.
Here is the result of the Paul VS Silva fight
Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva ROUND 8 DECISION - LOST
It seems the fights really legit. man Anderson Silva seems not himself no counters and didn't last because he has gas out Anderson Silva knowing him how to fight he would never push forward in an offense to his opponent, he was the one exposing his opponent with the untouchable defense of his and then counters the counters was gone in his gameplay this is not the Anderson Silva that I know and love, or this could be the fixed fight that Paul want but surely there are some moments on the fight that Anderson Silva seems to negate clinch from Jake Paul because of his MMA background but surely this is not the same Anderson Silva I used to watch,
We can say that he still got the footwork but man his punching rhythm is not there it was uncharacteristic for me to do such things, but Jake Paul's footwork is not really furnished yet if he decided to fight a professional boxer he would surely lose, but still, the fight is not boring, I surely enjoyed it and Anderson Silva is not the same anymore so maybe he should really be retired completely,
I also observe that, knowing Silva from UFC he is more on defense and will counter back once he see good opportunity, but today he don't have that same strategy or barrowing your words, he is not on his self I guess.
