Do anyone else feels good about Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo ? Possibly winning the World 🌍 Cup .......  Hopefully, he'll help Portugal emerge FIFA World Cup winners.

I am happy to hear that Cristiano Ronaldo cs has the hope of being able to bring home the Qatar 2022 World Cup. Ideally, this would happen towards the end of Ronaldo's career, before he leaves the Portugal national team.

The golden generation players who won the 2018/2019 UEFA Nation League title are currently the majority in the Portugal national team. Portugal, are placed in Group H along with Ghana, South Korea and Uruguay, and if they qualify as the top two teams in the group stage, then they will play a play-off with the teams that qualified from Group G, which includes Brazil , Cameroon, Serbia and Switzerland.

For me, Portugal is actually a big disappointment in the qualifications for this World Cup.
They were only second in their qualifying group, after losing at home against Serbia, and after that they had to play additional qualifications.
Their main player Ronaldo is also in a big crisis this season and practically does not play at all for his club.
I think they are playing in a very difficult group at the World Cup and I am not optimistic about their result at the World Cup.
Uruguay, Ghana and Portugal will fight to advance to the knockout stage of the World Cup in that group.

There are more countries that have disappointed in the qualification of the groups. Portugal was not good, but in the end they managed to easily qualify for the tournament. I recently read something that Italy might still be allowed to go to the World Cup, because there is a country that could not go to the World Cup due to dipomatic measures. Or because of some kind of danger/protest, but I don't remember which country that is. I think we would all like to see Italy in the final tournament, but they didn't manage to qualify, neither in the group nor in qualifying. So in the end Italy can only look in the mirror and blame itself for the failed qualifying campaign.
