For Newcastle, actually, since being owned by Mohammed Bin Salman, my expectation is that they will buy a lot of new star players. They certainly have a lot of money. But my thoughts are wrong, they only bought a few players and last season managed to get out of the Relegation zone. Today Newcastle had better they were able to make the top five.
I think Newcastle would still buy alot of stars; the situation can be likened to a phrase that says good things take a while to happen. Which means Newcastle need to climb up the ladder gradually before they are able to attract top notch footballers. If Newcastle can get europa league football ahead of next season; then they would go atleast 3 leap forward in the calibre of players the clubside can attract, knowing fully well money is never a proble, Newcastle will be a top team in few years
Premier League qualification was challenging for Newcastle even a few seasons ago. Such a team is now fourth in the Premier League points table. This is truly commendable. Although they are performing well. But they do not have star players in their squad. If they had tried to sign star players in previous seasons, no player would have been interested in joining Newcastle, because they had not any future. Newcastle has solidified their place in the Premier League this season. Now they can offer to bring in star players. They have a lot of money, their performance is now stable. If they can get the players they need in the squad now, they will strengthen themselves and compete for titles in the next few seasons.
