No thats not true. POS also work if you close your wallet. The next time you sync the wallet you'll also receive the minted coins from the days before. Just be sure your wallet is unlocked.
don't understand that... if my wallet is closed, how can it be locked or unlocked ?
And what is the interest for the coin network if all the wallets are closed

I'll explain it for you. You are entitle 1% stake every day. If you open your wallet, unlock it, you get you 1% stake every day.
But if you don't open then unlock your wallet for 5 days, you don't lose anything, you will still receive your 5 days worth of stake when you open your wallet and unlock it. There is a limit to 100 days of closed wallet I think. So, if you left your wallet close for 100 days, you lost your previous 100 days of stake.
