I was wondering about this, why is Liverpool being sold? while Liverpool performed very well in the English league and also in the UEFA Champions League. In my opinion, it's a shame to sell Liverpool because in Liverpool's game it really looks very good, I believe it will backfire for Liverpool owners if it is really sold, because so many investors are interested and waiting to buy Liverpool.
Fenway Sports Group (FSG) decision to sell Liverpool seemed sudden, but FSG considered this the right time to sell Liverpool. FSG foresight and ingenuity in managing Liverpool should be appreciated, since Liverpool ownership shifted to FSG hands in 2010, Liverpool has won several prestigious titles including UCL.
It is not yet known for certain what the obvious reason for FSG is to sell Liverpool, according to the news I read, FSG will consider new shareholders if it is in Liverpool's best interest as a club. So far there have been several names that have been rumored to be interested in becoming Liverpool's new owners, including RedBird Capital Partners and Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan, who previously offered Liverpool in 2017 but the offer was rejected.
Even mostly feeling this is sudden decision but most chances backdoor things already done, and we are going to have another big Sheikh in Premier League even right now strategically Liverpool is at the top of the Premier League, but things like this can bring more positive change for clubs because they will be able to have good flow of funds which will increase facilities for fans, and surely we will be able to have quality players which price is high and right now they are not in range of club finances.
FSG already done impressive job in last twelve years after having ownership and their hard work give them good dividend as well now hopefully we will be going to have another era for this club which will surely bring positive development and better results which is most important for the fans and peoples here in England.
