I want to recommend some advice here. First don't invest in new projects. Most of new projects are not for long term and you can be scammed here. Buy those token which listed in big exchanges like Binance, Coinbase,ftx and kucoin.
I am using Binance and very good so far.
Never buy coin in fomo. buy coin in dip and hold for some time. One day it will Pump and you will see in gainers.
I disagree with your statement, why can't invest in new projects, not all new projects are scams and also not sure old projects are safe. Luna is the old or new project and do you remember how it died? As long as you always do your own research before investing and are always willing to take risks, investing in new projects is good and has the opportunity to bring high returns.
What you say is true and basically whether it's an old project or a new project there is no guarantee that it will be safe,
