LOL.. Now I am getting confused. I remember seeing the 1.1 cr mark in Hotstar. I don't know whether it was a technical error or something like that. It was a working day and therefore the numbers were even more surprising. But then, I remember seeing 7-8 million regularly for Super-12 matches not involving India. But the 18 million peak viewership number was a record (India vs Pakistan in Super-12). I confirmed it:

Don't know about glitches but IMO those numbers are too good to be true for the insignificant fixture and also it wasn't a prime time slot.
I hardly watch a full T-20 match (only powerplay and death overs) but yeah 7-8 Million sounds convincing to me and I guess Ind vs Pak is a no brainer for anyone when it comes to number games.
