The developing story is that
Sam Bankman-Fried steps down as FTX CEO as his crypto exchange files for bankruptcy. FTX is one of the popular exchanges and i think gamblers might be using this exchange to transfer funds to gambling sites as that exchange had no tx fee. Do any of you uses FTX exchange to transfer funds to and from the gambling site?
Let's suppose you have funds on FTX, now that you are unable to withdraw, will you halt gambling for the time being and how will you survive this time?
When did it become normal to fund gambling websites from centralized exchanges? I've only done this a few times, and it's because I'm limited with coin deposits, so I have to convert from one chain to another, and I've done so with caution with the help of Kucoin because I don't vibe FTX exchange from day one. Having your funds on an exchange(centralized), in my opinion, is never a smart idea.
I sympathize with those affected by Sam-BF's nonchalant and careless behaviour, and I hope they learn their lesson to only keep their coins in their own wallets and subsequently fund their favourite gambling from there, and as soon as you win anything big in casinos, please move it to your own personal wallet, casinos are not too different from centralized exchanges, as I just learned that SBF has been hacked roughly $1billion worth of crypto.
