What I think England now has many good quality players in both bowling and batting, they are very strong now. But I didn't think that England will win this world cup. I thought that Pakistan will win this world cup but because of Pakistan's bad batting. Pakistan could not win this world cup. This time I supported Pakistan in the world cup.
Pakistan should be happy with what they got. Given their unpredictable performance (for example, the loss against Zimbabwe), they were quite lucky that some of the other matches went in their way (big thanks to the Dutch
). Coming in to the tournament, they had perhaps the best batsmen and bowler in T20 cricket (Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi). But then, they couldn't keep up with the expectations. The good thing was that Babar regained his form when it mattered the most. But in the end, England proved to be a much better team (even without Mark Wood). Yeah, Pakistan really benefited from South Africa's defeat against the Netherlands. Each of the other teams has done well to reach the semi-finals. The Pakistani team was lucky enough to reach the semi-finals but gradually improved as the tournament progressed. Due to their middle order weakness, everything was shattered.
