Bitcoin will always recover even if you don't see it at the moment. Instead of altcoins, Bitcoin is recovering much faster in yesterday's downturn. Of course altcoins haven't been as fully capable of a reversal as Bitcoin has shown us in the marketplace. But the problem isn't how bad it is, it's how smart you are to maximize buying on yesterday's dips and you have to accumulate price correctly to take a chance.
