Just a thought on this which could drive it a little more.

What about trimming a percentage off each deposit (1-5%) into a jackpot and awarding the jackpot to the last person to invest when the game expires.  Not sure exactly what would happen long term but eventually the jackpot should grow to be larger than a full deposit making it a definite win for the last one in.
