The main goal of the big clubs is their league title and the Champions League. But this season is a little different. Many big clubs are now performing in Europe leagues. But still the main sign of every team is its own league title. Barcelona and Arsenal will be looking to secure their league title. And then they will want to win the Europa League title. But as a common spectator we would definitely like to enjoy a competitive league.
I don't think so, those team consider winning the europa league as a way to go to the champion league. this league gives only a trophy and qualification for the next champion league. I don't even think barcelona would be winning the current season. it must be arsenal that potentially winning the title. barcelona is not strong enough to do that. Europa league teams were also strong. barcelona failed last year and it will be failed again this year. The league become more competitive with some major club came yet champion league is still paying main attention from all of football fans
people are always picking barcelona to win the tittle but last season it can do nothing against frankfurt. Barcelona is not tough team to be beaten. Playing offensive and counter attack is a key to win against barcelona
Barcelona performance in the Europa League won't be of much difference just like the champions league, I don't think barcelona can win the Europa League . Talking about team that can win the Europa League this season Manchester United have more chances than barcelona, despite Manchester are not very consistent this season, they are still better off than barcelona. If Barcelona are not careful and not trying to work on their performance they may end up not winning laliga.
Maybe same will be repeated as Xavi don't have plans to defend the Europa League in anyway
